Ren Locus is a non-profit in Clark County, Washington and has a need for volunteers in several areas. Not only do Volunteers help us provide services to more people, volunteering is a rewarding experience.

All opportunities have general requirements. Some programs and/or opportunities may have additional requirements.

Programs

We provide a variety of programs, workshops, and classes.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program

We are seeking tax preparers, interpreters, quality reviewers, and site coordinators for each shift.

Washington Working Families Tax Credit Outreach

We will be presenting outreach events throughout the year.

We are seeking someone to help us with coordinating and presenting the events and assisting attendees. Multi-language skills are a plus.

Other Volunteers Opportunities

We have a variety of other volunteer opportunities.

  • Client Assistant

  • Database designer 

  • Graphic design for logo and publishing materials 

  • Marketing (all media: print; social; radio; television; etc.)

  • Money matters—fundraising and grant writing 

  • Research and data entry 

  • Technology—build and maintain a website

General Requirements

All Ren Locus volunteers are required to:

  • Complete and submit a Volunteer Application.

  • Once selected, sign a Volunteer Agreement.

  • Some programs may have their own additional volunteer agreement.
